# SIA for Calendly

Booking an interview by email usually means a few rounds of back-and-forth — you propose a slot, the candidate can't make it, you try again. Connecting Calendly skips that entirely. SIA generates a booking link from your own Calendly account, sends it to the candidate, and lets them pick a time that works for them.

### Connecting Calendly

1. In Chat, open [**Connectors**](https://sia.senseloaf.ai/settings/connectors) from the sidebar
2. Find the **Calendly** card and click **Connect Calendly**
3. A Calendly sign-in tab opens — sign in and approve access when prompted
4. You're redirected back to Chat and the card now reads **Connected**

### What you can do once connected

Once Calendly is connected, SIA can generate and send scheduling links without you opening Calendly yourself:

* **Generate a booking link from an existing meeting type** — if you already have a Calendly event set up (for example, a 30-minute intro call), SIA can create a single-use link from it and send it to the candidate
* **Create a new meeting type on the fly** — if you don't have the right event type yet, describe it (name, duration, bookable dates) and SIA sets it up in Calendly for you
* **Send the link by email in the same step** — SIA drafts the email to the candidate with the link included, so scheduling and outreach happen together

> **Warning**
>
> SIA never sends an email without showing it to you first. The message and the scheduling link are always shown for review — nothing goes to the candidate until you approve it.

### Disconnecting Calendly

1. Go to [**Connectors**](https://sia.senseloaf.ai/settings/connectors) in the sidebar
2. On the Calendly card, click **Disconnect**

This revokes SIA's access to your Calendly account immediately.
