# SIA Chat Prompts

Ready-to-use SIA Chat prompts for recruiters - sourcing, reviewing assessments, workflows, and pipelines. SIA previews high-impact actions before executing them.

> **Note**
>
> SIA use your organization’s live recruiting data and will show a preview before high-impact actions such as sending emails, moving candidates, importing records, or activating workflows.

### Working with SIA Chat

**Start from a prompt, then make it yours.** These prompts are starting points, not scripts - adapt the wording, add detail, or combine ideas freely, just like you'd ask a colleague.

```
Example: Find senior [role] candidates in [location] with [skills] and at least [X] years of experience.
Could become
Find senior Backend Engineers in Bengaluru who know Python, Django, and PostgreSQL, ideally with 5+ years of experience and some startup background.
```

**Say what outcome you want -** Just tell SIA the decision or output you're after: a shortlist, comparison, summary, recommendation, draft, or action.

```text wrap title="Compare candidates"
Compare the five strongest candidates for [role]. Recommend who should move to AI interview, with a concise rationale for each.
```

**Use action words intentionally**

| Goal | Useful wording |
| --- | --- |
| Explore data | "Show" "Find" "Compare" "Summarize" "Explain" |
| Create something for review | "Draft" "Generate" "Prepare" "Preview" |
| Save without sending | "Save as a draft" |
| Make a live change | "Shortlist" "Disqualify" "Send" "Activate" "Archive" "Import" |
| Check before acting | "Show me what will change" "Preview this action" |

**Review before confirming:** Before any live action runs, SIA shows you a preview. Check:

* Which candidates, applications, jobs, or workflows are affected
* Any emails or invitations that will go out
* Any automation that may be triggered
* Records being skipped, and why
* External-sourcing credit costs, if applicable

### Sourcing Candidates

When you ask to source candidates, SIA may ask whether you mean:

1. **Candidates already in your SIA talent pool -** Search and match against people already screened or added to your pipeline.
2. **Resumes you already have in files, Drive, Sheets, or Notion -** Import and screen candidates from documents you've collected outside SIA.
3. **New people from an external sourcing database -** Find and reveal fresh candidates through providers like [Swarm](https://www.theswarm.com/), [People Data labs](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/) or [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/), who aren't yet in your pool.

Being specific about which route you mean helps SIA return the right results faster

```text wrap title="Source candidates external Talent-pool"
Source senior [role] candidates in [location] with [skills] from external talent pool.
```

```text wrap title="Enrich candidate information"
Which sourced candidates for [role] have verified email addresses? Enrich contact details.
```

```text wrap title="Source candidates from internal talent pool"
Find candidates in our talent pool for [role] and source them to the workflow [role]
```

### Collaborate with your recruiting team

```text wrap title="Review hiring workflows"
Send an email to [hiring_manager_name] requesting review of the matching criteria and AI interview questions for [role]
```

```text wrap title="Review candidates"
Send an email to [hiring manager] requesting review of [candidate name]’s report card for [role].
```

```text wrap title="Request feedback"
Save a draft email to the interview panel requesting feedback on [candidate name] by [date].
```

```text wrap title="Announce on team channels"
```

### Work with connectors

Connectors let SIA Chat work with the tools your recruiting team already uses- mailboxes, calendars, collaboration channels, documents, sourcing platforms, and your ATS.

You can use connectors to:

* Draft and send candidate or stakeholder emails
* Schedule interviews and create video meetings
* Post hiring updates in Slack or Microsoft Teams
* Review resumes and candidate trackers from Google Drive and Sheets
* Create hiring briefs, scorecards, and review packs in Google Docs
* Read and update hiring plans or candidate trackers in Notion
* Source external talent through Apollo, People Data Labs, or Swarm
* Import jobs and applications from an ATS

```text wrap title="View current Connectors"
Which connectors are currently connected?
```

```text wrap title="SIA workflow + Google Docs + Slack"
Show the matching criteria for [role], create a Google Doc containing the criteria, weights, and knockout requirements, and prepare a Slack message asking the hiring team to approve or suggest changes
```

```text wrap title="SIA + Google Docs + Microsoft Teams"
Show the AI Interview plan for [role], create a Google Doc containing the competencies and questions for panel review, then prepare a Teams message to the interview panel asking them to validate technical depth, seniority fit, and follow-up areas.
```

```text wrap title="SIA + Slack/Teams + email"
Prepare a Teams message to [hiring manager] confirming that [candidate name] is ready for final discussion, and draft an email asking the candidate for a suitable time to discuss next steps.
```

```text wrap title="SIA + email + calendar or Calendly"
For [candidate name], create a Calendly link for a 30-minute recruiter screen, then draft an email inviting them to select a time.
```

There's no real limit to what you can do with SIA Chat - this library will keep growing as we discover new ways recruiters put it to work. If you land on a prompt or workflow you love, we'd genuinely like to hear about it. write to us and tell us what worked.
